We have a great deal of experience in the design and production of solid-state, mission-critical, real-time control systems. Generally preferring to manage such projects on a contract basis, we can provide full design, development, proving and acceptance services for the whole of the product cycle. However, we can contribute to any individual aspect as required.

Embedded software		Stand-alone, real-time controllers for various domestic, industrial, commercial and security applications. Software is usually written in C or Forth for the Intel 8051 processor. We can, however, produce systems in other languages and microprocessor platforms if required. Interim development hardware can usually be arranged (depending on the application) and we can also design and produce finished PCBs and product if required.

PC-based Controllers		We've written many PC-hosted real-time controllers for the security and materials-handling industries - inevitably involving advanced database and control algorithms - but the techniques are applicable to many other system types. Not too long ago, these control systems were always written for MSDOS^Ž using the C language but now, with the arrival of reliable GUIs, increasingly they're written in C++ or Java on the Windows 95/98/NT^Ž platform.
