Hi, that's me on the left. They call me Max. Handsome rascal or what?  I used to be known as Starski (I've a brother called Hutch, which seems to amuse you humans) but Max is what I answer to when it suits. Why the confusion? Well, it's like this. I was born in Manchester of  uncertain parentage. I think dad was a German Shepherd and mom was what you guys call a Staffordshire Terrier. Anyway, to cut a long story medium, I was kicked out of Manchester; stayed a while with some nice folks at the NCDL hotel in Kenilworth and now live with some people in the leafy borough of Solihull - got my own basket and everything.

Yup, I've really landed on all four paws here. Two square meals a day (plus treats if I behave), my own toys and I get taken to the park in a BMW! I go for a walkies around the block at least a couple of times a day but if my new dad wasn't so concerned with giving the best possible service to his FotoSoft clients, it could be much more often.

Still, like it says on my collar, I'm 'Happy, healthy, snipped and chipped' - that seems to amuse you humans too. Personally, I don't get the joke ...

Look, the point of all this is that if you've got a couple of quid to spare then you can't do better than sending it to the NCDL to help support one of their 'long term residents'. Tell them that Max sent you. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for them......
